Alejandra Carpenter is the owner of “The River Gallery” located at 135 North Sierra St in Reno, next to Cavanaugh’s Furniture. Alejandra was born on the North Coast of Honduras. This area has many diverse cultures in a lush tropical setting. Her art reflects these influences. Alejandra began studying art 25 years ago in Central America and continued her studies in Japan and the United States. Her oil painting “ Geisha” 48x60 oil is a reflection of that influence. Her work of “In the Moment” 36x48 oil with brilliant reds sparks the image of encompassing love. Her work “Tango” 36x60 oil shows the fiery orange of passionate desire. Her work “ Ballerina” 36x48 oil presents the delicate devotion to the creative passion of dance. Alejandra’s art encompasses a wide range from realistic to abstract in the various mediums of oil and watercolors, pen and ink.
