Bonnie Rannald began her business “Photographic Expressions” in 1993 when she was invited to participate at the "Celebration of the Arts" festival in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bonnie produces her vibrant color photography and stunning Silver Gelatin/Black and White photography from the open country of Northern Nevada.
Composed with the intuitive eye of an artist and created with the technical tools of the craftsman, Bonnie Rannald uses her natural gifts with the camera to touch the emotions of the viewer. “With an understanding of natural lighting, I create the image as the artist strokes the paint with the brush from the pallet to the canvas.” A Master of Arts degree with a background in athletics, music and dance has strongly influenced her photography, giving it a sense of movement. . When looking at her “Snowflakes at Spring Mountain Ranch” you can almost taste the snowflakes on your tongue. “Snow Tree II” gives a feeling of aloneness that is often accompanied by winter times. “Winter Storm” shows the grandeur of mountains and streams in winter. Bonnie’s Photographic Expressions has been featured in exhibits throughout the Southwestern United States and collected worldwide.
