Eduardo Almeyda
Eduardo Almeyda was born in Cuba in 1959, where he attended art classes during Middle and High School. He studied drafting in College. In 1986 he came to the United States, and has lived in Miami, San Francisco, and now Reno since 2002. After a recent trip to Hong Kong, Mr. Almeyda felt compelled to pick up the
brush again. He likes to paint subject matter relating to line and form, with architectural influences. Bright colors are evident in each painting reflecting his years living in Cuba. He works in oil, acrylics and watercolor on paper.
